Advances in engine technology depend squarely on development of corresponding high-tech engine oils and advanced additives. For example, the mega goal of nationwide deployment of ultra-clean BS-VI automotive fuels was made possible by the crucial role played by the next-generation high-tech MAK lubricants and advanced additives working in unison with hardware and thus completing the equation.

In the future, there will be tougher challenges and loftier summits to scale, and the R&D Centre is well poised to conquer them and set new benchmarks.

Our agile teams of R&D scientists and technical officers have a mission to create customer satisfaction of the highest order and top it up with a gamut of value-added services. We have Regional Technical Coordinators in all regions to provide technical support to all customers. Our state-of-the-art quality assurance laboratories, set up across the country, have more than 20 stationary NABL-accredited labs, hailing the concept of “Once Tested Globally Accepted”.
