INSSAN AWARD 2008 FOR SUGGESTION

Bina Refinery received SAKSHAM 2021 Award instituted by PCRA, MoP&NG for "BEST REFINERY PERFORMANCE IN PAT CYCLE-II".
This award was presented by Shri Tarun Kapoor, Secretary, MoP&NG and Chairman, PCRA during inaugural function of SAKSHAM 2021 at New Delhi on 16th January 2021.
The award is an appreciation of efforts by team Bina Refinery in achieving best performance in PAT cycle II (2016-2019) among the Indian Refineries and contribution in enhancing energy efficiency.
Bina Refinery over-achieved PAT Cycle II (2016-2019) MBN target by 89%.

Bina Refinery received 'Sustainably Growing Corporate of the Year' award for 2019-20 by FIPI. This award recognizes excellence in sustainability performance and benefits extended to the society and the environment amongst 5 applicants. Hon'ble Minister, MoP&NG presented award on 27th January 2021 at New Delhi.

Bina Refinery received 'Refinery of the Year' award for 2019-20 in the category of refineries up to 9 MMTPA capacity by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI). This award is presented for demonstrating excellence in production & operation, energy conservation, refinery margin, safety and environment protection amongst 9 participant refineries.
Award was presented by Hon'ble Minister, MoP&NG on 27th January 2021 at New Delhi

Bina Refinery wins “Energy Efficient Unit” award at CII National Energy Award – 2020

INSSAN AWARD 2008 FOR SUGGESTION

Bina Refinery conferred “Energy Efficient Unit” award by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) during ‘National Award for Excellence in Energy Management’ 2020. This year, the 21st edition of its series was organized online on virtual platform during 25 Aug to 28 Aug 2020. Total 255 companies in the country from various sectors including refineries, chemical, petrochemicals, power, cement etc. participated in the event.

INSSAN AWARD 2008 FOR SUGGESTION

Bina Refinery bagged “Refinery of the Year - 2017” award for its overall physical and financial performance in FY 2016-17 amongst 9 refineries having capacity less than 9.0 MMTPA. The award which is instituted by Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) to recognize pioneers and leaders in petroleum industry was conferred up on Bina Refinery in recognition of its higher level of production and operational efficiencies along with sound financial performance while complying with QEHS norms.

Bina Refinery won Prestigious “Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar" (silver trophy) in NSCI Safety Awards 2017. The award ceremony was organized by National Safety Council, an autonomous body set up by Ministry of Labour and Employment.
At a glittering function held in New Delhi, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India gave away the Certificate & Trophy to team Bina Refinery in recognition for developing and implementing safety management systems & procedures and achieving outstanding performance in occupational health & safety.

Bina Refinery won Oil Industry Safety Awards under the category of “Individual Contribution towards Safety” for FY 2015-16. The award ceremony was organized by Oil Industry Safety Directorate, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (Govt. of India) in the city of temples, Bhubaneshwar. The award recognizes the exemplary contribution towards safety under individual category.
The Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) is a regulatory and technical directorate in India. It was established in 1986 by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. The OISD formulates and implements safety standards for oil industries across country.

Bina Refinery was conferred ‘Excellent Energy Efficient Unit’ award by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) during the ‘18th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2017’. The award recognizes excellence in energy management across various industrial sectors including refineries, chemical, petrochemicals, power, cement, etc. The event witnessed participation by 290 companies from the country.

Bina Refinery won accolades at Frost & Sullivan’s Project Evaluation and Recognition Program (PERP)

Program Evaluation and Recognition Program (PERP) is an acclaimed nation-wide initiative of Frost & Sullivan to recognize and award distinguished projects undertaken by organizations to achieve business goals, operational excellence, enhance sustainability etc. Bina Refinery won accolades at PERP 2017 - First Runner-up under Project Innovation Leadership category and Certificate of Merit under Cost Leadership category.

Highest Excise Duty Payer

INSSAN AWARD 2008 FOR SUGGESTION

The Company was awarded a memento and certificate by the Central Excise Commissionerate, Bhopal for being the highest Central Excise Duty payer in the region for the financial year 2015-16. The award was received on 23rd February 2017 (celebrated as Central Excise Day).

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is engaged in strategizing the country’s objective of reducing energy intensity. BEE constituted the ‘National Energy Conservation Award’ to encourage and recognize companies’ achievements in reaching their energy related goals’ and invites applications across sectors from companies all over India. It is matter of immense pride for Bina region and MP state that Bina Refinery won “FIRST PRIZE” in the ‘Refinery’ sector in 2017. The award was conferred by the Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind at a function held at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi.

International Research Institute for Manufacturing awards ‘Gold Medal’ to Bina Refinery in its ‘National Award

INSSAN AWARD 2008 FOR SUGGESTION

Bina Refinery received Gold Medal in the ‘National Awards for Manufacturing Competitiveness 2016-17’ organized by International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM) at an event held at Mumbai. Participating organizations were evaluated on various parameters like stability in performance, improvement initiatives undertaken, adaptability to market requirements, leadership development, workflow optimization etc. Company also received special award for ‘Effective Leadership in Succession Planning’ during the event.

Bina Refinery has been awarded the ‘Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight Award 2015’ instituted by Centre for High Technology, Govt of India for achieving ‘Lowest Steam Leak’ amongst Indian refineries in the 450-900 MT/hr steam generation category.
