Bharat Petroleum accepts RTI application

1. Physical: From citizens on plain paper.

The following details are needed for the BPCL RTI Application Form

1.The name of the applicant
2.The address for correspondence
3.Details of the information sought by the applicant
4.RTI Fees in favour of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited payable through Demand Draft/Bank Pay Order/Indian Postal Order.
5.BPCL has a widespread network of operating locations and offices where the application seeking information can be tendered in person or by post.
6.The basic fee to be forwarded with the application is `10 (Rupees TEN only). Court fee stamps, Treasury Payments, Bond Papers, Payments at Post offices, Cash, etc. are NOT acceptable towards RTI fees. Also, additional fees payable on account of document copies/document inspection, shall be made only by DEMAND DRAFT/BANKER's PAY ORDER in favour of BPCL and at the town/city/location of the CPIO from where the information is sought.
 

2. Online RTI applications: Citizen can also lodge request through online portal by accessing the link https://rtionline.gov.in where the RTI fee can be paid online and the requester gets the registration Number upon submission of the request and can track the application.

3. E-mails: As BPCL is aligned to DOPT’s online portal www.rtionline.gov.in the information seeker/appellants are requested to lodge their RTI application / appeals through the same.

No RTI applications or appeals sent by e-mail will be accepted.
