Say hello to Aravanan Rajendran, Manager, HSSE (Retail) — a man who believes that every safe return home is the real measure of success. He began his BPCL journey in 2014 with curiosity and purpose, starting in the Engineering & Projects division where he quickly built a strong foundation in project execution and safety.

From executing key infrastructure works across Odisha to leading the mounded storage and gantry expansion at Jhansi LPG Plant, Aravanan’s journey reflects precision, teamwork, and perseverance. His later transition to Retail Operations and now to HSSE strengthened his expertise in safety, compliance, and sustainability.

Recognised with the “Best Near Miss Reporting” award by the Corporate HSSE Team in FY 2024–25, Aravanan believes small, consistent actions build a safer, stronger BPCL family. “What keeps me going?” he smiles. “The people — at BPCL, you’re surrounded by peers who push you to grow every single day.” For him, BPCL isn’t just a workplace; it’s where purpose meets passion, and safety becomes second nature.
