From the heart of refinery operations to transforming BPCL’s consumer retail experience across states, Namachivayam R. has built a career defined by versatility and impact. A Mechanical Engineer and SPJIMR MBA graduate, he joined BPCL in 1999 and has since navigated diverse roles across various functions.
With deep field expertise and a strong customer focus, his versatility extends to managing our One Stop Trucker Shops (OSTS) with varied facilities on highways, later moving to fuel sales in Tier I and Tier II cities.
His knack for creating and nurturing new markets earned him his current role in Consumer Retailing, a non-fuel marketing function of BPCL. Here, he is driving the rollout of In & Out stores at rural fuel stations and establishing stores in rural markets that promote entrepreneurship. Central to this mission is the 'Urja Devi' programme, empowering women entrepreneurs and uplifting local communities.
