BPCL adjudged as “Company with Best CSR & Sustainability” 2014.

The Asian Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability honored BPCL with the recognition of “Company with Best CSR & Sustainability Award, 2014”, at a glittering ceremony at the 2’nd Asia Business Responsibility Summit, held on 8th December 2014 at the BSE Convention Hall, Dalal Street, Fort, Mumbai.
The award was presented to BPCL in recognition of, the transformation of 90 villages in Southern India and 80 villages across Maharashtra and Rajasthan from water deficient to water positive dwellings, achieved through its flagship CSR Program “Project Boond” C&MD Shri. S VARADRAJAN along with Director (HR) Shri.S.P Gathoo received the award on behalf of BPCL in presence of Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO & MD of TCS , Mr Ashish Kumar Chauhan- MD & CEO, BSE Limited, Mr. M. Damodaran-Ex Ch. SEBI ,”Metro Man” Mr. E. Sreedharan-Retd I.E.S and ex-MD DELHI METRO, Ms. Ranjana Kumar, -ex CMD Indian Bank and NABARD, Mr Harsh Mariwala, CMD, MARICO and other luminaries from the corporate and governance world.
