BPCL hands over dividend cheque to Govt. of Kerala

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited has presented the Dividend Cheque for Rs.1057 lakhs to the Government of Kerala for the year ended 31 March 2014.

Mr. Prasad K Panicker, Executive Director, BPCL Kochi Refinery handed over the cheque to Mr. Oommen Chandy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala in Thiruvanathapuram on 8 October in the presence of Mr. PK Kunhalikutty, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & IT, Mr. K Babu, Hon'ble Minister for Fisheries, Excise & Ports, Mr. KC Joseph, Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development, Planning, Culture and NORKA, Mr. Adoor Prakash, Hon’ble Minister for Revenue and Coir, Mr. VK Ebrahim Kunju, Hon’ble Minister for Public Works, Mr. PK Abdu Rabb, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Mr. PH Kurian IAS, Principal Secretary (Industries), Govt. of Kerala, Mr. George Thomas, Chief Manager (Estates & Administration), BPCL Kochi Refinery and other BPCL officials.

BPCL’s annual general body meeting was convened in Mumbai on 18th September 2014. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has paid a dividend of Rs. 17 per share on its share capital to the Govt. of Kerala (GoK) for the year ended 31 March 2014. GoK holds 62,22,222 no. of shares in BPCL.
