BPCL signs Crude oil term contracts with Kuwait and UAE

BPCL signs Crude oil term contracts with Kuwait and UAEA BPCL delegation led by C&MD Mr S. Varadarajan, Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, MOPNG Dr S.C.Khuntia, Mr. B.K.Datta Director (Refineries), Dr BK Das MD (BORL), Mr RK Mehra Executive Director (International Trade),  Senthilkumar G R Chief Manager (International Trade) visited Kuwait and UAE during 27th-29th April’14 for signing of term contracts,to strengthen business relationship with National oil companies  of Kuwait and Abu Dhabi and to discuss further on the term contract for assuring continuous crude oil supplies to Mumbai, Kochi and Joint Venture BORL refineries.

BPCL and BORL signed the contract to import 4.2 MMT of Crude oil from Kuwait in 2014-15. BPCL would also be importing 3 MMT of ADNOC grades of Crude oil for 2014-15.

The delegation met the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait His Excellency Shri. Sunil Jain and the Indian Ambassador UAE His Excellency Shri. T.P. Seetharam for increasing the cooperation between these countries and India as energy security is one of the primary strategic requirements of India.
