Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited supports a CSR initiative “Integrated Cancer Care and Cure”

As part of the "Integrated Cancer Care and Cure" program of #BPCL, which included both Preventive & Curative Cancer care, more than 700 #Cancer screening camps for Oral, #Cervical and #BreastCancer were either organised or supported by #BPCL at #Pune, #Kolhapur, #Varanasi and #Kolkata. These camps aim to screen more than 70,000 beneficiaries over two years.
"Ugam-Victors of Cancer"- a voluntary cancer survivors’ support group is an integral part of this overall program which has been formed by Childhood #CancerSurvivors for those who have completed the treatment and has been set-up to empower these survivors.
On the occasion of #NationalCancerSurvivorsDay i.e. 05th of June, the dimensions of cancer care that are “Preventive” and “Curative” were talked upon in presence of more than 100 survivors along with esteemed guests Dr. C.S. Pramesh, Tata Memorial Hospital, Shri Raman Malik, General Manager Admin & CSR, HRS, BPCL, Ms. Aparna Pandey, Asst. Manager, #CSR, BPCL and other eminent oncologists from renowned institutions.
