Bharat Petroleum presents Dividend to Government Of India

Mr. S. Varadarajan Chariman & Managing Director, presented the dividend cheque of Rs. 675.24 crores, being the dividend from the Corporation to the President of India for the Financial Year 2013-14 to Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, on September 25, 2014 at New Delhi.
Also present on this occasion were Mr. Saurabh Chandra, Secretary, Petroleum & Natural Gas, Mr. Rajive Kumar, Addl. Secretary, MOP&NG, Mr.S.C.Khuntia, Addl. Secretary & Financial Advisor, MOP&NG, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Joint Secretary (Marketing), MOP&NG, and Ms. Monica Widhani Executive Director( Co-ordination),BPCL.
The Equity Share holding of Govt. of India in BPCL is 54.93%. The Dividend was approved by the Shareholders at the 61st Annual General Meeting held on September 18, 2014 at Mumbai. During the Financial Year 2013-14, BPCL achieved a record Net Profit of Rs.4060.88 crores.
