Saina Nehwal in action at the China Open Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal (BPCL) won the China Open Super Series Premier Badminton event defeating 17 year old Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in straight sets 21-12, 22-20 to clinch her third title of the season. Saina controlled the shuttle and the pace of the game and forced her younger opponent to commit errors. Earlier in this season Saina won the Australian Open and the Syed Modi International Grand Prix.
Later, Saina said that she was extremely pleased with her performance and this win gave her lot of confidence for the forthcoming Hong Kong Open and the BWF World Super Series Final in Dubai. On behalf of all at BPCL we wish her the very best for her upcoming events!!!
