Shri Sanjay Khanna was the speaker at the recent ‘Panel Discussion on Tackling the Twin Energy and Climate Crises: India’s Opportunity to Lead’. This panel discussion was a noteworthy part of the special launch event of ‘Oil 2023’, the highly anticipated outlook for oil supply and demand in India. The International Energy Agency (IEA), in collaboration with the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) and FIPI under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), organized this significant event.;.
The panel discussion, expertly moderated by Toril Bosoni, the Head of Oil Markets and Industry Division at IEA, included the leadership from the industry, Smt. Sukla Mistry, Director (Refineries) from IOCL; Shri Pankaj Kumar, Director (Production) from ONGC; Dr. Rangan Banerjee, Director from IIT-Delhi; and Dr. Soumya Kanti Ghosh, Group Chief Economic Advisor from State Bank of India, who were actively involved in the engaging discussion.
The event also witnessed a keynote address from Shri Pankaj Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, while Toril Bosoni presented the key findings of the highly-anticipated Oil 2023 report.
