BPCL hosts Compressed Biogas Workshop

The adoption and utilization of CBG as a sustainable energy source is one of the many visions the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has for the future of the country.
The first step towards this goal was a workshop organized by BPCL at Renaissance Bengaluru, on the 26th of February.
The event was graced by Shri Ramesh Krishna, Under Secretary MoPNG, Mr. Vibhor Srivastava, MoPNG, Mr. Bikas, Scientist, MNRE and Mr. Subhashish Parida, DDWS along with bank officials, LOI holders, Compressed Biogas (CBG) producers, entrepreneurs, technology providers, representatives from World Bank, Indian Biogas Association, and Oil and Gas marketing companies.
The true potential of CBG as a viable energy source will be only explored even further with more workshops and other initiatives in the pipeline.
