BPCL fuels a Green Revolution in Chhattisgarh with Commitment to Two State-of-the-Art CBG Plants.
This initiative spearheaded by the Chhattisgarh Biofuel Development Authority (CBDA) is a part of the Sustainablity development in the Region.
In the esteemed presence of Honorable Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, an MOU was inked between the Municipal Corporation of Raipur/Bhilai, CBDA, and BPCL, represented by Mr. Anurag Saraogi, Chief General Manager-Biofuels.
BPCL has committed a significant Rs. 100.00 crore for the establishment of 100-150 Tons per Day (TPD) capacity plants in Raipur and Bhilai. Beyond effectively managing 200-250 metric tons of municipal solid waste daily, this initiative is poised to generate 0.60 lakh man-days of employment annually.
With a strategic focus on fostering organic farming and achieving net-zero emissions, BPCL is energizing Chhattisgarh to chart a course towards a sustainable, green future.
