BPCL Celebrates Ruby Foundation Day

#40YearsOfFuellingDreams - BPCL Ruby Foundation Day celebrations in Mumbai on 24 January 2016.

A prestigious representation of Govt & State Dignitaries, Bureaucrats, Social Leaders and Catalysts, Channel Partners, Distinguished invitees, Press & Media witnessed the glorious moment in the history of Bharat Petroleum. The event was taken live on social media, and C&MD Mr. S Varadarajan acknowledged the amazing patronage and love from customers, who are in fact the prime reason for the existence of BPCL.

BPCL C&MD also said, "I would like to acknowledge the countless hours put in by our staff and channel partners for making Bharat Petroleum what it is today. Their thoughts, commitment and amazing camaraderie are what have made the journey worth every bit of it. To our channel partners who have been with us for so many decades, I can only say, we are grateful to you for having made this journey special."

The Energising Bharat Awards instituted by #BharatPetroleum as part of the Ruby Foundation Day was presented by Chief Guest Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble MoS (I/C) MoP&NG, Shri Kapil Dev Tripathi, Petroleum Secretary and Shri S Varadarajan, C&MD to individuals working selflessly for the betterment of society.

The first ever ENERGISING BHARAT AWARDS , a national level award from #BharatPetroleum was organised in association with Managing Partner – Open Media Network, Knowledge Partner KPMG in India and Digital Partner - Mirium. (Know more www.bpcleba.com)

Hon'ble MoS felicitated Business Associates of BPCL in the 3rd and 4th generation.

On the invitation of the Hon'ble MoS, C&MD has announced complete support for the START UP INDIA mission.

Former Directors of BPCL also joined the celebrations and relived the warmth of being a part of the spectacular journey.

Special performances by Sudha Chandran, Prince Dance Troupe and Shamak Dawar's troupe of specially abled children were the other highlights. These performances were by people who have overcome physical and financial setbacks in life.

As shared by Shri Varadarajan, "this evening will be the beginning of journeys that are never meant to stop. We at Bharat Petroleum have no intention of ceasing our efforts for a better tomorrow. We wish the same for each one of you. This evening is a toast to the goodness around us and we hope this evening leaves you with moments that you will cherish and you are inspired never to stop the good that you do."
